We want to share an important update with our Rockdale ISD families regarding the ACE 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant.
Unfortunately, our application for continued ACE Grant funding for the 2026–2027 school year was not approved because of new program requirements that our district is unable to meet. As a result, the grant-funded after-school programs at Rockdale Intermediate School and Rockdale Junior High School will not be available during the 2026–2027 school year.
We know these programs have been an important resource for many of our students and families. We wanted to share this information now to give families time to make plans for the upcoming school year.
Our district is actively exploring other funding opportunities and available resources to help support future after-school programming.

Our admin team spent the week at the Carnegie Learning TNI Conference, kicking off each morning with math learning and spending the rest of the day gathering new ideas to support our students and teachers.
